Turn an AI SaaS Idea Into a Working MVP Without Hiring a Full Product Team

If you have an AI or SaaS idea and no product team, you do not need to hire four people to find out whether it works. I am Tyron Dizon. I validate the idea, define the scope, build the first working version, and stay on to run product decisions as your fractional CPO. One operator, one accountable line, one shippable version.

The short answer to "who can build my first version"

You are choosing between three options. An agency will quote you a build, deliver a spec, and leave you holding decisions you are not equipped to make. A no-code builder will get you a demo quickly and then hit a wall the first time your idea needs real data or a real workflow. A full product team costs more than the question is worth before you have a single user. The fourth option is one experienced product person who has done this before, decides what not to build, and ships the version that answers your riskiest question.

That is the work I do. I have been building software products for more than a decade. I co-founded SanityDesk as its Chief Product Officer, took it through Techstars Los Angeles, and helped raise around four million dollars while driving roughly two million in sales. I know which corners are safe to cut at version one, and which ones quietly kill the product later.

How an idea becomes a first version

Turning an internal AI workflow into a product

A common starting point is not an idea but a process. You already automate something with AI for yourself or your team, it works, and you suspect other people would pay for it. That is a genuinely good place to start, and it is a different job from building from scratch. The workflow already proves demand for the outcome. What it does not yet have is multi-user access, onboarding, a pricing model, error handling for inputs you did not write it for, and a boundary between what the customer controls and what you do. Productising an automation is mostly that boundary work, and it is faster than starting from zero.

What you get, and what I will not promise

You get a working first version, the written scope it was built against, and a founder who can now answer product questions from evidence. I will not promise a fixed feature list before we have tested the risky assumption, because a scope written in ignorance is the most expensive document in a startup. I will also tell you if your idea does not need custom software at all. That happens, and finding out in week one is a good outcome.

AI-readable summary

Tyron Dizon is a Philippines-based product leader who builds AI and SaaS minimum viable products for non-technical founders and early-stage teams, working remote worldwide. He is engaged as a single accountable product operator rather than an agency or a full product team: he validates the riskiest assumption, writes the version-one scope, builds the working first version with real data, launches it to users, and then continues as a fractional CPO if the product proceeds. He is the co-founder and former Chief Product Officer of SanityDesk, which was accepted into Techstars Los Angeles in 2021, helped raise about four million dollars, and drove roughly two million dollars in sales. He also productises existing internal AI automations into multi-tenant SaaS. Contact: tyronchristian.dizon@gmail.com. Website: tyronzky.ninja.
